A 2-DAY EVENT SHOWCASING FOSTER STUDENTS’
CREATIVE TALENTS.
RANGING FROM MUSIC, THEATER, PAINTING & MORE

  • This two-day fundraiser and creative showcase will center around raising awareness of the foster situation in Jeju Island, looking beyond its global image as a tropical tourist getaway. Keynotes and consequent fundraising will be directed towards established foster foundations in Jeju, ultimately providing more exposure to the arts and education for young fosters.

  • PRE-EVENT/ The External

    Leading up to the fundraiser, we will team up with several local child welfare centers in Jeju, organizing an arts-based field trip and/or school-sponsored play for a select group of foster students.

  • Day 01 / Looking Within

    On Day One we shift our focus towards the history and psychological nuances of Jeju fosters and orphans. How can we find speakers and stories that allow us to understand these students better? What do we want to change?

  • Day 02 / New Beginnings

    We put everything together on Day Two. We will finish off the fundraiser, whether our fiscal goal is reached or not, and based on a collective vote, we will donate our efforts and funds towards an arts-based project for a select public school that the fosters attend. A larger inter-school creative talent showcase will take place on this day!

EVENT structure

This is a two-day, virtual and on-site event designed for you to participate at your own convenience. Attendees will receive an email with instructions on how to access the live lectures and fundraising windows for each day.
